Dr. Jennifer Ashton joined FOX News Channel (FNC) as a medical contributor in March 2006.

Dr. Ashton is a Board Certified Ob-Gyn who appears regularly on FNC, often with her husband, Dr. Robert Ashton.

Dr. Ashton is a prolific writer and has authored several scientific papers as well as health articles for laypeople. She is an active member of the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, which reflects her interest in teenage patients.

Dr. Ashton received her medical degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University and completed her residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center of Columbia University. She also obtained for undergraduate degree from Columbia. Dr. Ashton is active in several charities and had been recognized for her philanthropic efforts with honors such as Woman of Achievement by the Girl Scouts of New Jersey.
