Troy crushes Northwestern State 100-63

BATON ROUGE, La. —  Travis Lee scored 21 points to lead Troy to a 100-63 victory over Northwestern State on Saturday night.

Lee shot 6-for-9 from the field, including 5-for-8 from 3-point range.

Michael Vogler also continued his outstanding play for the Trojans (3-3). Vogler, who is leading the NCAA in assists per game (8.7), dished out 17 assists against Northwestern State. Troy guard Richard Delk chipped in with 17 points and six rebounds in the LSU Thanksgiving Invitational.

The Demons (3-3) were led by nine points from Keithan Hancock.

Northwestern State struggled to score, shooting only 33.9 percent (21-for-62) from the field and 13.6 percent (3-for-22) from 3-point range. The Trojans, on the other hand, shot 57.4 percent (35-for-61), including 51.7 percent (15-for-29) from beyond the 3-point arc.
